Real and Raw Wellbeing Recognised with Heroes of Industry Award for Neurodivergent & ADHD Coaching

Kirsty Crouch celebrates recognition for an empowering approach to ADHD coaching, combining lived experience, continued professional development and a commitment to helping neurodivergent women thrive.

Real and Raw Wellbeing has been recognised with the Heroes of Industry Award in Neurodivergent & ADHD Coaching, celebrating the work of founder Kirsty Crouch and her commitment to raising awareness, encouraging greater understanding and helping neurodivergent women feel empowered in both their personal and professional lives.

Kirsty’s work is rooted firmly in lived experience. Her decision to establish Real and Raw Wellbeing came from wanting to use the challenges she had faced, alongside her own ADHD diagnosis and the skills she discovered during her journey, to make a meaningful difference to others.

Her approach recognises that neurodivergent women can face a complex combination of pressures. Whether running a business, building a career, raising a family, navigating life as a single parent or balancing other everyday demands, Kirsty believes challenges do not have to define what someone is capable of achieving.

Rather than focusing solely on practical strategies that many neurodivergent people may already have encountered time and again, Real and Raw Wellbeing takes a broader approach, providing empowerment alongside tools designed to support the mind, body and soul.

“My primary goal is to raise awareness and foster understanding of neurodivergence, especially ADHD in women, and give others the tools to thrive in all areas of their life.”

That ambition extends beyond individual coaching. Kirsty would also like to increase awareness across industry and the workplace, helping organisations understand how they can better support neurodivergent members of their teams so that people feel supported, understood and able to be themselves at work.

Looking towards the next decade, Kirsty sees considerable opportunity to develop both Real and Raw Wellbeing and the support available within the wider profession. She plans to continue building and developing her offering for clients, grow her client base and collaborate with more people across the industry. An important part of that vision is the development of workshops and talks for business owners and leaders, providing practical insight into how they can better understand and support neurodivergent employees.

For Kirsty, one of the greatest benefits of working within coaching is seeing that development happen firsthand. The growth she witnesses in clients, combined with the support she receives from others working within the industry, continues to reinforce why she chose this path.

“I do this because I want to make a difference and help change the face of neurodivergence in women in a positive and empowering way. The breakthroughs that I see clients having are what brings me joy.”

Real and Raw Wellbeing is independently run by Kirsty, meaning the responsibility for its development, client support and professional standards sits with her. As a result, continued professional development, further knowledge and personal growth remain central to the way she works.

Equally important is protecting her own time and energy. Kirsty recognises that being able to offer clients the best possible support and genuinely hold space for them requires maintaining the capacity to give that work the care and attention it deserves.

Her commitment to professional development includes continually seeking CPD opportunities, summits and other avenues for further learning. This is particularly significant given that Kirsty currently balances the development of Real and Raw Wellbeing alongside a full-time job. Despite those demands, she remains committed to ensuring her knowledge and skills continue to grow.

As part of her future professional development, Kirsty plans to pursue accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is also looking to join the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) in the near future, reflecting her continued commitment to professional growth and maintaining high standards within coaching.

That combination of professional development and personal experience also shapes the advice Kirsty would offer to somebody beginning their own journey within the profession.

“Be kind to yourself and take one day at a time. Building a coaching business can be difficult and takes time and it can feel disheartening at times, but if you know you have a passion for something, trust your gut and never give up.”

It is advice that reflects her own experience of building Real and Raw Wellbeing. Kirsty works tirelessly to develop the business, but the moments that matter most remain those spent coaching clients and witnessing the realisations, breakthroughs and changes taking place within them. It is that sense of joy and purpose that continues to drive her forward.

Through Real and Raw Wellbeing, Kirsty is working towards a future where neurodivergence, particularly ADHD in women, is met with greater awareness and understanding rather than limitation. By combining lived experience with continued learning, compassionate coaching and a determination to improve understanding within both everyday life and the workplace, her aim is not simply to help people manage challenges, but to provide the tools and empowerment they need to thrive as themselves.

The Heroes of Industry Award in Neurodivergent & ADHD Coaching recognises that commitment and Kirsty’s continuing work to create positive change, one client, conversation and breakthrough at a time.
