Lisa Rogerson of HelpForMovers Named Recipient of Apex of Achievement Award in Relocation Support 2026

Lisa Rogerson of HelpForMovers has been named the recipient of the Apex of Achievement Award in Relocation Support 2026, recognising her practical and thoughtful approach to supporting people throughout the moving process.

Lisa’s connection with the removals industry began before she was even born. When her mother went into labour with her, her father was driving his removal lorry and had to get her to hospital. Growing up in a removals family and later becoming a military wife, Lisa has moved home more than 20 times, giving her first-hand insight into the challenges, organisation and preparation involved in relocation.

Drawing on this experience, Lisa created The StepByStep Guide to Moving House, a practical A5 booklet featuring useful tips, reminders and checklists to help people prepare for moving day.

Through HelpForMovers, the guides can also be produced with bespoke covers for removal companies and other property-related businesses, incorporating their branding, colours and contact details. This allows businesses to provide customers with something genuinely useful while remaining front of mind throughout the moving journey.

Lisa wanted to create something people could keep, refer back to and use rather than information easily lost among emails and online searches.

Her philosophy is simple: “The better you prepare, the smoother the move!”

The award recognises Lisa’s lifelong connection to the removals industry, personal relocation experience and commitment to making moving easier and more manageable for others.
